Engineered with Advanced Reflectance Technology™ (ART™), Purshade® products protect plants from the damaging effects of ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) radiation while still allowing photosynthesis to occur. Available in easy-to-use wet suspension concentrates, Purshade solar protectants are mixed with water and then sprayed directly on the plant surface to form an even coating of sunscreen protection.

Scientifically developed using a highly reflective mineral in an optimal particle size, Purshade protectants reflect harmful UV light to reduce sunburn, and reflect IR radiation to help reduce heat from building up on fruiting structures and plant leaves. Keeping the plant cooler, while ambient temperatures rise, reduces stress on the plant and enables the plant to more efficiently utilize available water resources.
